Creating a Back-yard Oasis
The requirements for this screened-in porch and deck project were simple. They were to create a space that contained an open air barbeque with enough room to entertain family and friends for him and a breezy, bug-free spot to enjoy the backyard views for her. The Glickman Design Build team was more than up to the task of exceeding the expectations of the homeowners.
The gorgeous screened-in porch was designed with an open cathedral ceiling and latticework gable allowing for the perfect blend of privacy along with access to the great views. The 360 square-foot sun deck offers ample space for gathering around the grill, or sunbathing in relative privacy.
An L-shaped staircase joins the new space to the yard, making for a functional and attractive transition from the deck to the yard. The homeowners now have a true backyard oasis that they can enjoy alone or in the company of friends and family.
