Where to start – With a Certified Aging in Place Specialist

Glickman first started helping family’s figure out the basics of getting in and out of the house because of physical limitations. Our approach has since evolved into a careful organization script. Given the exorbitant cost of assisted living facilities, clients are increasingly asking for features that will ultimately make their own houses more accessible. That’s why we sit with clients and find their vision and work with them to make smart, practical choices. We go over everything because even the smallest details can have potentially life-saving impacts. From preventing falls through something as simple as choosing the right kind of carpet, or the proper flooring like cork, rubber, and linoleum. Because softer surfaces will be kinder to joints and won’t pose trip hazards, like high-pile or excessively padded carpets can.
