Dream Deck Part 5- Taking Shape

We pick up on building the Glickman “Dream Deck” with the installation of the deck material, the Gazebo, and support beams or metal ‘flitch plates” which will support the master bedroom walk-out balcony. To install the balcony support beams, Russ brought in a 75 ton crane to lower the beams over the top of the house and into position.

With the assistance of Glickman designers and a lot of input on his own, Russ designed the intricate hand laid patterns for the decking and other accents that truly makes this a work of art.

We invite you to email us with questions about the process of building a deck. And we would be thrilled to meet with you to discuss how our design and building expertise can help you build your own “Dream Deck”. Spring is here. Start now and you could be enjoying your very own outdoor masterpiece by this summer.
