Dream Deck Part 3 – The Plans
Russ and his wife Anne had spent months planning their new “Dream Deck”. Some of the features that they had always wanted to have on a new deck included:
-A walk out storage area under the deck that could be accessed from the lower level of their home.
-A second level that would serve as a walkout balcony from their master bed room
-A built in fire pit and outdoor kitchen on the main level of the deck.
Together, they used Real Time Collaborative Design a feature offered to all of Glickman| Design Remodel Build clients on their own project. Using this fantastic computer aided design program, Russ and Anne worked with one of Glickman’s lead designers to create computer renderings that would detail all of the new elements of the deck in exact scale. From these designs, blueprints were drafted and plans were submitted to Montgomery Cty. for approval.

What you see is what you get!
The deck design and construction process typically begins with detailed planning — including blueprints, collaborative discussions, and the required permitting.
