An Amazing Transformation: Bethesda Whole House Renovation
This week I want to highlight an AMAZING renovation by Glickman Design Build.
The project goal of this whole house renovation was to update and expand this Cape Cod style home while maintaining its quaint structure.
The scope of the work was EXTENSIVE. Originally a one-story brick home, the project involved remodeling the basement, reconfiguring the first floor, adding an addition to the second floor and updating two bathrooms.
The biggest challenge was the kitchen space. The homeowners wanted a larger kitchen, but doing that in its original space would have created a very narrow room, so the Glickman team decided to move it to the other side of the house for an ideal layout.

What a transformation!
The homeowner could not have been more thrilled with the end result! The renovations turned out exactly as they wanted them. The family loves that they now have seating at the bar in the kitchen for quick meals and couldn’t be happier with the bathrooms. The additional space allowed for all of the changes they wanted to make their home work perfectly for them now and down the road.
